It seems like there is a Robinson Jeffers influence on some of the poems in this book. The only poem that stood out for me was "The Beginning of September." Despite Farhan's references to birds and art, this collection didn't speak to me in a way that I had hoped. It appears I'm something of an outlier here in my evaluation of these poems: 3.4 stars rounds down to 3.

Praise & Reviews
This book is amazing. Sorry I'm not as eloquent as the author. He can set your mind in a specific scene with a handful of words. These poems are visual, not as much emotional. Novel and short story writers could learn so much from this poetry. I don't like poetry and I've read this book more than 20 times. Each time is mind blowing.

The book was pretty good, it had some valid points and learning that there are different ways that people express their love was important. What I think pulled away from the book was the underlying religious agenda to preach about God. It totally turned me off And I thought it was completely unnecessary to deliver the message. Of course if you are a religious person then this would be right up your alley.
